Our breeding philosophy

At Littledots.nz in Auckland, we are dedicated to raising healthy, confident, and joyful Petit Bordoodles. As a small boutique nursery, we believe ethical breeding begins with raising every puppy right in our family home with undivided love and intention.

Raised in our home

Breeding is my full-time passion and commitment. Our puppies are raised indoors alongside my family, fully immersed in the everyday rhythms of family life.

In our purpose-built puppy room, they have dedicated areas for sleeping, playing, and feeding, with sustainable, washable training pads. Being close to us each day means every puppy receives attentive, hands-on care from their very first breath.

Early socialisation and gentle boundaries

We nurture each pup's natural instinct to keep their sleeping den clean. Starting from three weeks old, we gradually expand their space while guiding them to designated toileting mats with lots of encouragement. Puppies stay alongside Mum so she can teach essential manners, and they enjoy calm car rides with her to build resilience naturally. For pups travelling further across New Zealand, we introduce vet-recommended calming pheromone support to ensure every transition is gentle and secure.

Holistic health and thoughtful matching

A healthy pup starts with thriving parents. Our girls—Navy, Clover, and Willow—enjoy active outdoor lifestyles and premium nutrition, including Royal Canin, raw meat, bone broths, and fresh goat's milk, paired with carefully chosen health-tested studs like Bowie from Black Barn Cavoodles. Every Petit Bordoodle receives a thorough vet check, their first vaccination, a scented snuggly, and a vet booklet before joining a family that will cherish them forever.

"I still feel so, so, so lucky to have her, and I'm enjoying every moment with her. Every time, I just feel so thankful to you for raising such an amazing puppy!"
